Play Catch Up

Here's our life for the past week in bullet points (and pictures):

• Saturday morning Connor had his 2nd swim lesson.  He did pretty well, but wasn't fond of the cool water temperature.

• Saturday afternoon we went boot shopping to replace Connor's green rubber boots.  The green boots are just too hot for summer time.  He had a blast and loved checking himself out in the mirror.  The funniest thing was watching Connor flirt with the cute girls that were shopping!

• Grannie came over Saturday night (with a milkshake in hand) to watch Connor while Matt and I went out for dinner.  We went to Carrabbas for dinner and then to see Hangover 2.  It was nice to have a relaxing night out of the house!
• Sunday we grabbed lunch with Gigi and Big Daddy and then went back to their house to play on the swing set.    
• Sunday night we grilled out and Connor was very persistent about me turning the sprinkler on.  Oh to be a kid and strip down in the backyard!

•  Matt and Cooper shared cantaloupe...I asked him "Did you ever picture yourself sitting on the couch sharing cantaloupe with a chihuahua?"

• Tuesday night Grandaddy came over for dinner and a visit with his favorite grandson! Connor showed him his bubbles, new boots and then they played some basketball.
• It's been a busy week at work and it seems like everyone is extra argumentative lately.  Basically brokers have been arguing that the sky is not blue it's purple!  Martie and I CANNOT wait until Friday at 4:30...that means we have a two day break!
