January Randoms

January came and went so quickly that I have some leftover random pictures.  Every year we are so go, go, go from December to January with the holidays and then Connor and Matt's birthdays. I generally look forward to the month of February because we have nothing to do.

Connor had a few rough days at school with not listening, so I told him if he got 3 stars for the next week we would get a "happy" on Friday as a reward

This is how our evenings usually are since Matt has been working long hours and weekends, cuddled up in the recliner watching Tangled (over AND over again!)

We have offically gotten rid of the LAST paci in the Jones house.  Connor picked a bag and tag to wrap up his orange paci for Bobo and Baby Grayden.  The next day we drove out to Bobo's house and dropped off the paci.  It was a rough night, but after that he didn't ask for it anymore.  However, he hasn't forgotten where he left it!

Ryan brought his tractor over to help Matt get the knocked down pilar at the end of the driveway

Coming up with a game plan

It looks so much better now that it's gone!

We celebrated Matt's 28th birthday with some cupcakes from Gigis

Connor's a pro at eating cupcakes after all the birthday celebrations!

To say he was wired that night, is a complete understatement!

Pom Nationals

It's that time again, Houston Pom show night!  This year was extra special because Bradley was one of the two boys on the JV squad.  Of course Connor was very excited to see the girls and their routines!

The beautiful Angelina

Bradley did a great job, especially since this was his first year

3 Year Check Up

Today we had Connor's 3 year check up and as usual he did really well.  I didn't really have any concerns going into this appointment.  I had to chuckle because I remember going to his 18 month check up wondering if he would ever start talking, now you can't get the boy to be quiet!

Connor's doctor was happy with his development and had no concerns.  The only thing we need to work on is getting rid of the last paci, but other than that he looked great!  Connor had to do his first hearing check and eye exam, which both went well.  Also, the doctor was able to get one of his tubes out of his ear since it was right on the edge.  Connor wouldn't let her try to get the other one out, so she said it would fall out on it's own soon enough.

Weight: 34.7 lbs
Height: 38 inches

I can't believe how big my baby boy is getting!!!

Connor's Party- Part 2

After the kids (and adults) ran and bounced around for about an hour and a half, we headed to the party room for cake and ice cream.  Connor's party didn't really have a theme this, but he did request a football on his cake so that's exactly what I did.

This was my first year to go with a cake from Kroger instead of our normal cake lady.  I was happy with how it turned out, not to mention we only looked at it for about 2 minutes before it was sliced.

ALL the presents...it felt like Christmas all over again!

Connor's 3rd Birthday Party

We celebrated Connor's 3rd birthday party at Pump It Up this year!  I thought it would be a lot less stressful to have a party somewhere besides the house, however, that was not the case.  I will say, it was definitely nice not to have to clean up after everyone left.  We had a really good turn out and Connor was able to invite his friends from school and his friends from outside of school.

Josh, Connor's best friend at school

I'm sure these two are a handful in class

I think Connor's favorite was the slide

Leia and her sister

Uncle Ryan and Ms. Sarah

Uncle Chris & Aunt Cici

Yaya & Bobo

Lola, Brandy & Makayla

Garner taking a break from the slide

Yaya, Bobo & Aunt Pat

Brinkley & Ashley

I love watching these two together

His birthday shirt turned out so cute, except I should have gotten short sleeve because he was burning up!
