Duck, Duck, Goose!

This weekend definitely did not go as we had planned.  The plan was to go to Nashville for Amber and Marty's bachelor/bachelorette party, however the weather had other plans for us.  It started raining late Friday night and didn't stop until the wee hours of Sunday morning.  With all the heavy rain, flooding, and tornado warnings we decided to cancel the trip.  Instead of going to Nashville, we decided to have the party in Memphis.

On Sunday we went to YaYa's for a visit.  While we were there Garner spotted the geese in the backyard and immediately grabbed the bread.  The geese absolutely love her because she spoils them with bread and corn!  So of course Connor had to follow in suit because he wanted to be like a big kid.  The geese get so close that it's almost scary! (One goose eats directly out of the palm of your hand)

Last weekend my dad came in town for my birthday. We had a very low key weekend because once again the weather was horrible.  Not to mention, I had also fallen down the stairs on Friday night and twisted my ankle REALLY bad (I will not bore you with the details).  Anyways, my dad always loves getting a chance to hang out with Connor.  Finally on Sunday we were able to get out to the park for a quick swing.  I think the picture below is adorable!
