Oklahoma Trip

For Memorial Day weekend we decided to head to Oklahoma.  It was one of the last chances we would have before I went back to work, plus the long weekend gave Matt some time to relax.  Something always happens when we plan a vacation.  This is what Connor looked like when he woke me up in the middle of the night before we left for Oklahoma

Apparently he is not allergic to amoxicillin, but he is allergic to ibuprofen...poor baby!  We gave him a few doses of Benadryl and decided he was good to go.  So we packed up the truck and headed out.  Of course the DVD player in the truck was jammed and I knew it was going to be a LONG drive!

We needed all this stuff for a weekend trip!

Stuck in traffic and the DVD player was still jammed, so I had to hop in the back and provide some entertainment.

Walker did so good the entire truck ride, I was pleasantly surprised!

Connor's best friend for the weekend was Mimi.  This particular adventure was going to pick up sticks!

Out of all our stuff I packed, the stroller was not included so this was the next best thing for the weekend.

Lounging by the pool has changed dramatically since having kids, now I lounge by the pool in the shade with shorts and a t-shirt on.

The water was FREEZING...the boys were warming themselves on the concrete!

This was the biggest surprise of the weekend...Reid bought Connor his very own four wheeler.  I have to admit that at first I was not a fan, but Connor did extremely well on it.  Also, there is a screw that can adjust the speed so he really doesn't go that fast.

Matt had a major allergy attack while we were there.  On Sunday he didn't even go outside.  It worked out perfect because Walker had a cuddle buddy for the day!

Ms. Kim was always eager to help with the boys and Walker can't resist a pretty girl

And...Look who turned 2 months old while we were there!

We really enjoyed ourselves while we were there.  It's nice that the whole yard is fenced in so I know Connor can't get into too much trouble.  Also, there are plenty of people around to lend a helping hand with the boys (mainly entertaining ADD Connor).
