Pumpkin Patch 2012

This past Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch down in Mississippi.  We met up with Bobo, Marty, Garner, baby Grayden, Yaya, Gram Candy, and Samantha.  If I had a lot of land, this would be a great setup.  The people who own this place are making a killing!

Connor tackled the hay maze while we waited on everyone to get there

It really only took him 2 minutes and then he was ready to move onto the next thing

They had a petting zoo with a few animals

25 cents got you a cup of food to feed the animals, this donkey was very persistent (it was probably starving)

This pig looked miserable, when it walked it was stepping on its stomach.  I couldn't figure out if it was pregnant or just fat!

This cute little piggy was destroying the field

Connor and Garner took a ride on the train

Then it was time to ride the ponies, Connor had been waiting the whole time for this

He felt like a real cowboy on a "horse" his size

Oh baby Grayden is such a chunk, I just want to squeeze him!

I held him for 5 minutes and then passed him back to Amber...her arms have to be rock hard!  At 6 months, he's weighing in at 23 pounds!!!

Baby #2: {17 Weeks}

How far along? 17 weeks

Maternity clothes? I really wish I could live in yoga pants and a t-shirt

Stretch marks? Not yet and I'd like to keep it that way.

Sleep: Sleeping through the night

Best moment this week: Making some progress on organizing the house

Miss Anything? Nothing that I can think of

Movement: The flutters are starting to be felt more frequently

Food cravings: Still nothing, most evenings I would rather just not eat

Anything making you queasy or sick: The evenings are still the worst, I'm usually in bed by 8:15

Gender: Saturday, October 27th is the big day!

Labor Signs: None

Symptoms: The foot cramps are still around

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: I'm a planner, so knowing the gender is really going to help me feel less anxious.

Looking forward to: Finding out the gender next Saturday!  I have everything planned for a boy, except the middle name.  So if it's a girl, Matt and I will be in COMPLETE shock!

Brinkley's Birthday Party

Saturday after Matt finished with his race car thing, we headed home to get ready for Brinkley's 3rd birthday party.  It's hard to believe how fast these kids grow up!  I remember Brinkley at Connor's 1st birthday and she was only a few months old.

Birthday Girl and her friend from school

Connor of course froze as soon as we walked in the backyard, but give the kid a football and he comes to life!

Brinkley received lots of princess stuff, she should be set for a while

Connor and Mason playing football together

It was fun to see these two play together, a quick glimpse into the future

Finally by the end of the party after, everyone left, Connor decided it was time to get in the bounce house.  Happy 3rd Birthday, Brinkley!

NASCAR Husband

On Saturday, Matt lived out one of his dreams!  What started out as a sweet little anniversary gift, turned into a full blown NASCAR experience.  He ended up doing a ride along and then driving 36 laps on his own. This is the closest I'll get to having a NASCAR husband!

Connor wasn't pleased that he ONLY got to stand in a car, he was expecting the car to be driving fast

I was surprised at the turnout for the event

Memories...its sad to see how run down the track is.  I remember going to races with Matt, his family, and friends back in the day when it was up and running.

Here's Matt waiting for the ride along, you can see the pure excitement on his face

Connor wasn't too sure of being in the car

And they're off...

Next came Matt's turn to drive the car by myself and he was given car #14

He didn't have very good luck with #14 because the car kept back firing

Time to change cars

#15 was the best car and you could tell from watching that he was having a blast!  Then Matt came down pit road and come to find out there was a loose wire that was sparking and smoking inside.

So he moved on to #6, it definitely wasn't as good as #15

All in all, Matt had a great time! To be honest, I really haven't seen him that happy in a while.  He definitely deserved this day, he works hard and does pretty much anything for Connor and I.

Baby #2: {16 Weeks}

Skipped over week 15 because Matt worked all weekend (I was in bed when he went in and in bed when he came home) and Connor isn't the best photographer, but there wasn't anything out of the norm during last week.

(This is my comfy, just ate look)

 How far along? 16 weeks

Maternity clothes? The bump is starting to show quite a bit, so there's not many regular clothes I'm wearing these days.  Not too mention, I'd rather be comfortable than stuffed like a sausage!

Stretch marks? Not yet and I'd like to keep it that way.

Sleep: Still sleeping really well, but the crazy dreams are starting

Best moment this week: Hearing the heartbeat, 160, at the doctor checkup.  Everything with me and baby is good, I just have to watch lifting anything heavy.

Miss Anything? Not missing too much this week

Movement: Still little flutters.

Food cravings: None, in fact nothing usually sounds good

Anything making you queasy or sick: I feel pretty sick in the evenings, it may just be my body saying it's time to lay down

Gender: Not yet, 2 weeks and counting!

Labor Signs: None

Symptoms: Crazy dreams and foot cramps/spasms

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Mood: Content, but I have to admit that my fuse is pretty short these days.  It really doesn't take much to set me off.

Looking forward to: Not having anything to do after work this week, last week I was pretty busy.
